Youth Karate

Shotokan Karate is an ideal martial art for children age 6 and up. It's a traditional method of self defense that builds confidence in the participants as they gain mental and physical control of themselves. We combine Martial Art training with modern exercise science to produce maximum results: self defense skills, increased flexibility, balance, muscle tone and coordination are some of the benefits. Classes are taught in a structured format with emphasis on precision and application of technique.

Our non-contact teaching method allows students to learn blocks, kicks, punches, elbow and knee strikes effectively without injury to themselves or others.  No "hidden" equipment costs - the only thing necessary to practice is a Karate uniform; not required the first month.  No Contracts or Sign Up Fees!    Monthly fee: $60.00 or pay per lesson.   Uniforms are available for $35 and come with a white belt.

We are a member of the American Amateur Karate Federation, established in 1964.  Belt ranking is recognized throughout the U.S. as students progress from white, gold, orange, green, purple, brown and black.  Progress is based on skill level to assure participants are learning the techniques correctly and performing them well.  Please call or email to find out more or schedule a time to observe a class.
